Level 1 Instructor Tennis Canada
Paul Kirijian is a dedicated and passionate tennis coach at Elmridge Tennis Club, where he has been fostering the love for tennis and developing players of all ages cine receiving his Tennis Canada Instructor Level 1 Certification in 2015. With a keen eye for detail and a profound understanding of the sport, Paul believes that mastering fundamental techniques is essential for achieving success on the court.
His teaching philosophy emphasizes making every lesson a positive and enjoyable experience. Whether he’s coaching kids at summer camp or working with adults looking to refine their skills, Paul brings the same level of enthusiasm and encouragement to the court. He understands that a supportive and enjoyable environment is crucial for effective learning and long-term improvment.
Paul’s dedication to his students has made him a beloved figure at Elmridge Park Tennis Club. His ability to combine technical expertise with a fun and positive coaching style has helped many players achieve their personal best.

Cameron Montgomery
Level 1 Instructor Tennis Canada
Cameron Montgomery is a Level 1 certified Tennis Canada instructor with a Ph.D. in education, offering a unique, personalized approach to tennis coaching. Cameron brings his extensive experience as a former professor of education to the court, understanding how students develop both physically and mentally.
His teaching style is built on meeting players at their current skill level, challenging them with movement and technique while ensuring they stay within their comfort zone, making learning enjoyable and encouraging progress.
He played Division 1 NCAA tennis at American University in Washington D.C. and continues to compete at an international level in the master’s circuit.
He is currently Chair of Junior Development for the National Capital Tennis Association.

Noor Naba
Level 1 Instructor Tennis Canada
Noor Nabaa received her Tennis Canada Instructor Level 1 Certification in 2026 and has been immersed in the sport her entire life. She worked as a camp instructor at Blackburn Tennis Club for over four years, gaining valuable on-court coaching experience and developing her skills as a leader.
As a junior, Noor competed at a high level in U12 and U14, and later continued her tennis journey as a member of the Varsity Tennis Team at the University of Ottawa for 3 years.
Noor is passionate about contributing to the growth of tennis within her community and here at Elmridge.

Douaa Charkaoui
Level 1 Instructor Tennis Canada
Douaa Charkaoui is a bilingual certified tennis coach and has been actively involved in the sport both as a player and a coach.
Douaa competed at a high level in Morocco, participating in numerous national tournaments, winning several titles, and achieving high national rankings. As an advanced player, Douaa continues to train and maintain a high level of performance on the court.
Alongside playing, Douaa has started building coaching experience by giving private lessons and working with players to develop their skills. Douaa is passionate about growing in the tennis community and aims to continue progressing both as a competitive player and a coach.

Arthur Cuenco
Arthur Cuenco, has been involved in actively teaching tennis since 1991. He has over the years introduced thousands of school aged children, young adults and retired young at heart to the joy of tennis in Ottawa.
Arthur was a varsity player at the University of Ottawa and is now a Certified Coach 2 and Club Pro 2 with Tennis Canada, a Tennis Professional with United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR), and a CardioTennis and Wheelchair Tennis Certified Coach. He has also coached National Level Players.
Arthur is the Head Ottawa and Gatineau Facilitator and Coach Developer for the Tennis Canada Instructor and Club Pro 1 Certification.
He teaches in both official languages.
Arthur is also a Certified Pickleball
When he’s not on the court, Arthur can be found at Merivale ProPhysio and Sport Medicine Centre, as Clinic Director. Arthur is a Registered Physiotherapist for 26 years, Certified Active Release Technique, Graston, Dry Needling, Fascial Stretch Therapist helping people restore mobility, strength and return to full function and sport. He has a keen interest and specialization in both Tennis and Pickleball specific injuries as he can do specific assessments to look for potential injuries if not corrected ahead of time.
